Eurovision 2025 Kaj for Sweden, Gabry Ponte for San Marino and Napa for Portugal

It was one of the last nights of the national finals, which would produce three new candidates for Eurovision 2025, and we might as well say it straight away: tonight Sweden saw a Revolution! But... not the one we were expecting with the victory of Mans, the big favourite since its announcement at Melodifestivalen 2025. Instead, Sweden has decided to send the song " Bara Bada Bastu » group Kaja song that really stands out from the crowd swedish-pop usual line-up. A trio of Finnish comedians, singing entirely in Swedish (for the first time since 2006 with Carola), and eliminates a former Eurovision winner (exactly 10 years after his victory), that's unprecedented! We'll tell you more about this thunderclap from the north.

For the San Marino Song Contest, after a long pre-season with interminable auditions (of over 50 candidates), it was another surprise that the microstate caused by sending... Gabry Ponte ! If you've been following the Sanremo festival in mid-February, the name will ring a bell. He wrote the song " Tutta l'Italia », the theme song for the Sanremo festival. And if that name doesn't ring a bell, just remember that he was a member of the group Eiffel 65, thanks to whom our summer of 1999 was full of " I'm Blu Da Ba Dee... " . It was clear that something was happening in the room. It's an energetic song that gets you dancing to Italian clichés (albeit benevolent ones) with an easy gimmick that gets stuck in your head. So much so that there were numerous messages from fans who wanted Gabry Ponte to represent Italy after Olly turned down the offer following his Sanremo victory. The rest is history. Gabry Ponte was put forward as a last-minute candidate for the San Marino Song Contest and... he won.
